Welcome to the Ethics in Mental Health Research (EMHR) website. This website has been designed to provide users with a full range of resources for teaching, studying, or investigating ethical issues in mental health research.

The aim of EMHR is to provide access to materials that will not only inform, but form; that is, materials that foster moral development. EMHR contains an online compendium of ethics cases, ethics assessment tools, links to ethics codes and research regulations, and information on purchasing the textbook Ethics in Mental Health Research and the instructional DVD Dialogues on Ethical Research in Behavioral Health. It also includes class slides from the Ethics in Mental Health Research Course, now freely available on this site under EMHR Course.

Just added in the Bibliographies Section: References for Ethics In Substance Abuse Research.

Visit the new Book and DVD section for information about purchasing these anticipated products.

If you have suggestions on how to improve this website or would like to submit a case for publication, please contact the website administrator.

Thank you and happy surfing!
